After the tour, you will take the backpacker train to Aguas Calientes, where you will stay the night at the hostel or hotel of your choice (selected from our list shown below).

Day 2 : Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes - Cusco (B)

Today a two hour guided tour of Machu Picchu will show you why it was voted one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After your tour, you will have plenty of time to hike the Huayna Picchu Mountain or just wander around at your leisure. In the afternoon, one or two hours before your train departure, you should take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you will take the backpacker train to Poroy, Cusco.* Upon arrival in Poroy, you will be driven to your hostel or hotel in Cusco (not included in the package). End of our services.

*If there are no train tickets available for the listed train (sometimes tickets are sold out several months in advance), you will take the backpacker train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. From Ollantaytambo, you will be driven to your hotel in Cusco. If this issue arises, we will inform you within one month prior to your departure date.
